◆無全民健康保險卡（初來台）
For newly arrived students, including foreign students and Overseas Chinese students, without NHI IC card 
  
　　初次入境之僑生在未滿四個月之前，依規定參加僑務委員會辦理之『僑生傷病醫療保險』。保費併入註冊費一併繳交至本校出納組（99學年度僑生傷病保險金額為新台幣2,000元）
Overseas Chinese students newly arrived in Taiwan who have not stayed more than 4 months will be required by OCAC to join in the group medical insurance (the payment from September to December is NT$2,000). The cost of the group medical insurance is included in tuition fee in the very first semester.

 　　外國學生新生註冊時應檢附經駐外館處驗證，已於國外投保自入境當日起至少四個月效期之醫療及傷害保險証明。
Before enrolling, international students should offer insurance certificate which covers medical insurance at least for the first 4 months since you entered into Taiwan. And this insurance certificate must be verified and authenticated by Taiwan Representative office.

 ◆持有全民健康保險卡
For foreign students and Overseas Chinese students with NHI IC card 

→僑生 For Overseas Chinese students 
  僑生(含港澳生)應將應繳納保險費列入學校每學期學雜費繳款單內，於註冊時一併繳納，健保局按月開具繳款單，保險費由學校按月向轄區健保分局彙繳。
  僑生第一學年第一學期繳納9月至次年1月保險費，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。第二學年起第一學期繳納7月至次年1月，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。
The cost of NHI premiun is included in tuition fee every semester. Bureau of NHI will send bill to YUNTECH to pay the premium by month. 
Payment for each overseas Chinese students(including students from Hong Kong and Macau) to pay for the first semester of the first academic year is from September to next January, and from February to June; and payment for each overseas Chinese students to pay since the second academic year is from July to next January, and from February to June.

※被保險大學部僑生如持居留證，且在學校參加健保之僑生每月須自付(新台幣374元)。
According to the fee criteria set by NHI, each Overseas Chinese undergraduates with ARC who join in NHI should pay NT$374 each month. 
 

→外籍生 For foreign students　
   外籍學生應將應繳納保險費列入學校每學期學雜費繳款單內，於註冊時一併繳納，健保局按月開具繳款單，保險費由學校按月向轄區健保分局彙繳或在居住地區的鄉鎮市公所加保。
   外籍學生第一學年第一學期繳納9月至次年1月保險費，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。第二學年起第一學期繳納7月至次年1月，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。
The cost of NHI premium is included in tuition fee every semester. Bureau of NHI will send bill to NYUST to pay the premium by month.
Payment for each foreign students to pay for the first semester of the first academic year is from September to next January, and from February to June; and payment for each foreign students to pay since the second academic year is from July to next January, and from February to June.
   新入境外籍學生於居留期滿四個月始符合投保資格，後二個月(一、二月)參加全民健保。所以學生應繳之健保費應列入學雜費繳款單內，方便學生繳納。
According to National Health Insurance Act, any foreigners who have stayed in Taiwan over 4 months are obligated to underwrite in the NHI system. That is, newly arrived foreign students (usually) could join in NHI since January. The cost of NHI premium is included in tuition fee every semester.
　保險費計費規定係投保當月繳納全月保險費，如遇學生畢業、休學、退學時學校應按計費規定退還學生溢繳之保險費。
People insured should start to pay the premium since the month you joined in NHI. School should refund overpaid premium for students who are drop out of or expel from school.
 
※ 被保險外籍學生(含碩博士班學生)如持居留證且在學校參加健保者，每月須自付(新台幣749元)。
According to the fee criteria set by NHI, each foreign students (including postgraduates and PhD candidates) with ARC who join in NHI should pay NT$749 per month.  



研究所 For postgraduates and PhD candidates 

學校應將碩博士班僑外學生健保費列入每學期學雜費繳款單內，於註冊時一併繳納，健保局按月開具繳款單，保險費由學校按月向轄區健保分局彙繳。 
The cost of NHI premium is included in tuition fee every semester. Bureau of NHI will send bill to YUNTECH to pay the premium by month.

　碩博士班僑外學生初次入境學生於居留期滿四個月始符合投保資格，被保險人每人每月應繳保險費(新台幣749元)，故在學校投保之研究所僑外學生每月須自付保險費(新台幣749元)，因為僑務委員會只補助大學部。第一學年第一學期繳納9月至次年1月保險費，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。第二學年起第一學期繳納7月至次年1月，第二學期繳納2月至6月保險費。
International postgraduates or PhD candidates who have stayed in Taiwan over 4 months are obligated to underwrite in the NHI system. According to the fee criteria set by NHI, the cost is NT$749 each month(OCAC subsidize undergraduates only.) That is, Payment for each students to pay for the first semester of the first academic year is from September to next January, and from February to June; and payment for each students to pay since the second academic year is from July to next January, and from February to June.
