停保與復保
如遇僑生(含港澳生)、外籍生出國六個月以上者(如與外國學校交換學生)，得於出國前向學校申請停保，並由學校填具停保申請表送轄區健保分局，停保期間準予免繳保險費。再度入境時學生應向學校申請復保，並由學校填具復保申請表送轄健保分局，惟出國未達六個月即入境返校者，應註銷停保，追繳保險費。
NHI transfor out/in of YUNTECH
1. International students(including Overseas Chinese students, foreign students and exchange students) who will go abroad for 6 or over 6 months, could go to International Students Assistance Division(ISA) office apply NHI closure procedure before departing Taiwan. These international students who are mentioned have no need to pay NHI premium while they are not in Taiwan, and could go to ISA office-YUNTECH apply NHI again after arriving Taiwan.
2. International students(including Overseas Chinese students, foreign students and exchange students) who will go abroad for 1 to 5 months, could go to ISA office apply NHI closure procedure before depating Taiwan. These international students who are mentioned have to pay NHI premium for months that they were not in Taiwan.
