For newly arrived students, including foreign students and Overseas Chinese students, without NHI IC card
初次入境之僑生在未滿四個月之前，依規定參加僑務委員會辦理之『僑生傷病醫療保險』。保費併入註冊費一併繳交至本校出納組（99學年度僑生傷病保險金額為新台幣2,000元）
Overseas Chinese students newly arrived in Taiwan who have not stayed more than 4 months will be required by OCAC to join in the group medical insurance (the payment from September to December is NT$2,000). The cost of the group medical insurance is included in tuition fee in the very first semester.

外籍生-全民健保 National Health Insurance for Foreign Students
◆無全民健康保險卡（初來台）
For newly arrived foreign students without NHI IC Card
外國學生新生註冊時應檢附經駐外館處驗證，已於國外投保自入境當日起至少四個月效期之醫療及傷害保險証明。
Before enrolling, foreign students should offer insurance certificate which covers medical insurance at least for the first 4 months since you entered into Taiwan. And this insurance certificate must be verified and authenticated by Taiwan Representative office.
無上述有效保險證明之初次入境外籍生，在入境未滿四個月之前，依規定參加學校辦理之『僑生傷病醫療保險』。保費併入註冊費一併繳交至本校出納組（99學年度僑生傷病保險金額為新台幣2,000元）
Foreign students(without insurance certificate which is mentioned above) newly arrived in Taiwan who have not stayed more than 4 months will be required to join in the group medical insurance (the payment from September to December is NT$2,000). The cost of the group medical insurance is included in tuition fee of the first semester.
外籍學生來台就學者，自居留滿四個月時起，即應依法強制參加全民健康保險，請在其就讀之學校辦理參加全民健保或在居住地區的鄉鎮市公所加保。
According to National Health Insurance Act, any foreigners who have stayed in Taiwan over 4 months are obligated to underwrite in the NHI system. Foreign students should go to NHI applicant of school you are studying in or municipal administration which is in the same area you reside in, and apply to join NHI.
◆入學前已有全民健康保險卡
For foreign students with NHI IC card
請在就讀之學校辦理參加全民健保或在居住地區的鄉鎮市公所加保，被保險人每人每月應繳保險費(新台幣749元)。
Foreign students who has already joined NHI before enrolling should go to NHI applicant of school you are studying in or municipal administration which is in the same area you reside in, and apply for extending NHI. Person insured by NHI have to pay NT$749 per month after joining in NHI.

→初次入境之僑生在未滿四個月之前，依規定參加僑務委員會辦理之『僑生傷病醫療保險』。保費併入註冊費一併繳交至本校出納組（99學年度僑生傷病保險金額為新台幣2,000元）
Overseas Chinese students newly arrived in Taiwan who have not stayed more than 4 months will be required by Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission(OCAC) to join in the group medical insurance (the payment from September to December is NT$2,000). The cost of the group medical insurance is included in tuition fee in the first semester.
◆入學前已有全民健康保險卡
For overseas Chinese students who has already own NHI and NHI IC card
→僑大分發 For overseas Chinese students distributed by NUPS
僑發生如果已有全民健保卡，來校前應先至原投保單位辦理健康保險轉出事宜，並取得健康保險轉出單或轉出證明書，來校後應該照學校的註冊繳費單去繳健保費（新台幣2,244元），再由學校代為加保。
Overseas Chinese students distributed by NUPS who has already joined NHI and own NHI IC card, please refer to your previous agency (language school, company, or municipal administration... etc) for an insurance closure document. Then bring the document and tuition receipt of the semester to International Students Assistance Division(ISA) office to transfer your NHI to YUNTECH.(The payment from September to February is NT$2,244.)

→僑生如持有我國身份證且在台灣有直系親屬可依附投保，依法(全民健康保險法第十條第二項規定)應以眷屬身份依附該被保險人參加本保險。
Overseas Chinese students with National Identification Card(ROC) could legally be a dependent of an immediate relative who is in Taiwan,(i.e., parents, spouses, or children) you should go to NHI applicant of your relative and apply as a dependent family member.

依中央健康保險局函修定持有中華民國身份證僑生，因父母不在台灣且父母未參加全民健康保險，而無法依附父母加保者，可依附就讀學校投保。
